Painted on 300gsm 100% cotton acid-free watercolour paper using professional grade pigments for vibrance and longevity.

Choose between a detailed representation or a loser, more expressive style. Your portrait can come simply on the white of the paper or be surrounded by a background colour. You can let me know your favourite colours and we can discuss options together.

For easy framing, I paint on paper sizes that fit the most common standard frames. You can opt to include a mat with your order, which will serve to highlight the painting in its frame and offer further protection.
Paper & mat sizes can be customised to fit any custom frame, just drop me a line and I’ll make sure your painting is frame ready!

My aim is always to create a portrait that you will really love and cherish, so I would be happy to chat with you about your preferences, and I can help you choose the best photo from your favourites to base the painting on.

Contrary to many other portrait options on the market, I do not create digital files using filters. My paintings are 100% handmade, from drawing through the watercolour painting process. As my style is quite detailed and because watercolour can be unforgiving, I usually allow two weeks per painting once started to make sure you get the absolute best result I can give you. Depending on other orders I may not be able to start your painting straight away; prices and current wait times are available on request.
